School District

The Victoria Woods community is situated entirely within the Warrick County School Corporation boundary. The Warrick County School Corporation is the twentieth largest corporation in the state, with approximately 10,000 students enrolled. It consistently performs as one of the highest achieving school districts in southern Indiana, with a overall grade of “A” from the Indiana department of Education. The specific schools that serve Victoria Woods are John H Castle elementary, Castle North Middle School, and Castle High School.

Local Amenities

Victoria Woods is situated just outside of the higher density residential areas, but close enough to any amenity that a family may need. Friedman Park and events center is actually connected to the community with a trail that leads directly to the park. No need to even get in the car, just take a hike! Downtown Newburgh is 12 minutes away, providing a quaint and historic riverfront shopping or dining experience.


The historic Boonville Square is about 8 minutes to the northeast, which boasts a connection to Abraham Lincoln at the County Museum. The square also offers boutique shops, antique stores, and unique dining as well. The Warrick Wellness Trail and Healthcare hub, is only 14 minutes away. This healthcare hub is home to Encompass Deaconess Rehabilitation Hospital, Digestive care center, Ascension St. Vincent Orthopedic Hospital and more.


Furthermore, Evansville’s east side is only 16 minutes away, and all of the staple shops and big box stores are available there.

This area is served by the Boon Township Fire department and the Warrick County Sheriff’s department. The closest emergency room is located 15 minutes away at Deaconess Gateway.
